Q: What systems do you have for training a team?

While team training can be useful, we don't focus on optimizing it because training is inherently temporary. Training provides people with contextual knowledge and step-by-step instructions, but it relies on the hope that they’ll later recall and apply that information correctly. This approach is risky. Instead of relying on team training to address process issues, we encourage creating systems that eliminate the need for constant training. We design processes that are so clear and easy to follow that anyone can handle them without needing specialized knowledge or extensive onboarding.
